in case anyone is interested, I put together a playlist with some good folkish type music to calm you down and make you think about nice things. maybe some of you all will enjoy it!
"Because of the increasing physiological demands on Jesus’ heart, and the advanced state of Haemopericardium, Jesus probably eventually sustained Cardiac Rupture. His heart literally burst. This was probably the cause of His death."
On the rugged cross, Jesus’ heart burst for you. Literally burst. The pain he felt is unfathomable. He still wants you every day. He never stops chasing. His death wasn’t comfortable or soothing or painless. It was the opposite.
His love for you goes higher than mountains, deeper than the seas, his love goes beyond anatomical and physiological pain. And nothing gets in the way of this love.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neitherheight nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)
